SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

A primary interest in the use of computers to create new opportunities for music learning and music performance has lead George to become co-developer of:

Home Concert Xtreme and Home Concert 2000™, intelligent music accompaniment software available from TimeWarp Technologies

Classroom Maestro™, an electronic blackboard for presenting musical concepts, also available from TimeWarp Technologies

Internet MIDI™, an unreleased program from TimeWarp that enables two MIDI instruments to communicate over the Internet

Adventures in Musicland™, four computer games that explore sound, pictures, and music, published by Electronic Courseware Systems

Although still published, Adventures in Musicland reflects the fact that these games were developed in the early 1990s.

Earlier software programs no longer on the market include:
  • Cakewalk In Concert™, a forerunner of Home Concert 2000/Xtreme, formerly published by Cakewalk

  • Music Mentor™, an introduction to music history and the fundamentals of music, formerly published by MIDISoft

  • Perceive®, an integrated ear training and music theory package, formerly published by Coda Music Software (now called MakeMusic, Inc.)

Venture Capital
George is currently involved in very exciting development. Serious venture capital inquiries are welcome.
