PERFORMING
A pianist, George has appeared in solo recitals and chamber concerts in New England, the Midwest, and California. For 26 seasons, he was a regular soloist with the Rockford Pops Orchestra (in Illinois). He has also made guest appearances as a conductor. In addition, he has performed extensively as a church musician.
Currently, his solo concerts explore the interactive use of computers and multimedia elements. This season, George is presenting a multimedia piano recital called An Evening of Piano Music for Lovers.
NOTE: If you twist his arm, George is available to present a silent film with piano accompaniment.
 George also performs collaboratively with pianist and contemporary keyboardist, Shana Kirk. Together, they perform classical and contemporary works in a spirited, multimedia format.

Video Sample
This example is the conclusion of the Sunken Cathedral by Claude Debussy. The performance used both a Disklavier piano (played by George) and a Clavinova digital piano (played by Shana). The video features "authentic footage" of the cathedral under the waves off the Brittany coast.
